In 2010 the world curling champs were taken place in vancouver. Curling is a sport play on a long sheet of ice. In the end the Canadians won gold, Norway won silver and the Switz toke home the bronze.

You have to slide in stone across the sheet of ice and try to hit the target area which is made up of 4 rings. Each team has 8 stones and you have to try to get the highest score which is scored on the number of stones nearest to the smallest ring. Who use curling brooms, stones and curling shoes.

Curling was first played in scotland in the late Midlevel times. Its an Olympic sport and was first imtroducted in 1924 and was made official in 2006. its related to bowls, boule and shuffleboard.
